SRI ODP & Academy Announces 2021/22 Tryout Dates and Summer Programming

The SRI Olympic Developmental Program is a supplemental training program aimed at identifying top players within the state. Selected players will have the opportunity to showcase themselves and vie for spots on the Regional and National ODP pools.

What are the Benefits of Participating in US Youth Soccer ODP?

1. Development as a player. The opportunity to train and play with the best players in one's age group.

2. Quality instruction from nationally licensed coaches.

The SRI ODP & Academy Programs are open to boys and girls in the 2012-2005 birth years. The 2021/22 tryout schedule is as follows:

SRI PDP Summer Sessions

The Soccer-RI Player Development Program (PDP) is organized through the RI Developmental Academy Program. The PDP was formed as a supplemental training program aimed at developing players within the state, while also serving as a pathway to the SRI Academy and Olympic Developmental Programs. PDP is an intense 5-Week (60 minutes/session) technical training program that benefits and enhances the development of field players and goalkeepers at all levels.

Programming will run for boys and girls in the 2011-2006 birth years.

The PDP Summer schedule is as follows:

North PDP – Monday Nights

SRI Academy Summer Camp

The Soccer-RI Academy Camp is organized through the RI Developmental Academy Program. The Academy Camp was formed as a summer training program aimed at developing the younger players within the state, while also serving as a pathway to the SRI Academy and Olympic Developmental Programs. The camps will focus on helping young players develop their individual skills in a creative atmosphere overseen by experienced ODP and SRI Academy coaches. Each three-hour session will consist of technical training, possession exercises, and full-sided matches. Goalkeepers will also receive position specific training.

These exciting and intense camps are open to boys and girls ages 7-12. All players are eligible to attend any or all of the camp sessions. The camp fee is $150.00/player and includes an academy training top.

Programming will run for boys and girls in the 2014-2009 birth years.
