Soccer Rhode Island as your US Youth Soccer National State Association offers the following tournaments to all competitive clubs’ teams:
US Youth Soccer Rhode Island Championships
The US Youth Soccer Rhode Island Championship is the entry level competition of the US Youth Soccer National Championships. U11 to U19 teams are invited to participate in this event. The winners from the RI Championships advance to the Region I Championships. Winners from the Region I Championships in the U13 to U19 age groups advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships.
US Youth Soccer-Region I Championship
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series caps a year-long tournament, that features competition for boys and girls teams in the Under 12 through Under 19 age groups. In Region I, the National Championship Series begins with teams in all 15 state associations vying for their State Championship titles. State Champions in these age groups and champions of the Region I Eastern Regional League-Elite Division are eligible to compete in the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships.
Region I Presidents Cup
In addition to the Region I Championships, the winners (or finalist if the winners are not available) from the RI Championships are offered the opportunity to attend the Region I Presidents Cup the next seasonal year. US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events will determine the regional qualifiers that will compete in the US Youth National Presidents Cup. Regional winners in the Under-13 through Under-17 groups, both boys and girls, will vie for the national title.
US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup
The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for a national title. The cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
Please Note: The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is a separate series of events from the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.
